Summer Night Sports started with a simple idea from Bryan: Create something that would get kids outside during the summer, bring the community together, and give every kid a place to be included. What began as a conversation about hosting small basketball clinics to teach the basics of the game, a sport Bryan has always loved, quickly grew into something much bigger.

Both Bryan and Dustin are small business owners in Owosso, Michigan, and they have always appreciated the support the community has given them over the years. Summer Night Sports became a way to give back to the same community that has supported their businesses and families.

The vision was never just about basketball. It was about creating opportunities for kids to stay active, build confidence, learn teamwork, and spend their summer evenings surrounded by positive energy. It was about creating an environment where athletes of all skill levels feel welcome, where friendships are built, and where families and fans can come together to enjoy the excitement of community sports.

Today, Summer Night Sports continues to grow from that original idea. Through tournaments, leagues, and future programs, the goal remains the same: provide a fun, welcoming place for kids to play, for families to connect, and for the Owosso community to come together during the summer.
